We're coming to 'chop you' - 2 SHS leavers warn 'Legon boys'

A video of two SHS leavers celebrating their passing of the 2018 WASSCE has gone viral. The young ladies were seen making controversial statements including a warning to Legon students.

Funtimeafrika.com has located a video of two female Senior High School (SHS) leavers putting forth exceptionally dubious expressions following the arrival of the current year's WASSCE comes about.

As indicated by the yet-to-be-distinguished young women, they have exceeded expectations in the WASSCE and will get entrance into the college.

To demonstrate their energy, the two 'mischievous young ladies' have recorded a video to make an impression on Legon young men that they are going to the University in style so they ought to prepare for them.

"The results are out and we did well. University here we come. Yea, the chicks are coming to the university. The besties are gonna rob you...'Leg boys, we are coming to 'chop you,'" they are heard saying in the video.

The results for the 2018 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) have been released with the results of 26,434 candidates withheld due to examination malpractices.

"The withheld results of candidates will be canceled if found culpable or released otherwise," WAEC revealed.

In all, over 90,000 candidates failed their Core Mathematics paper while the performance at A1-C6 in Social Studies showed a marked improvement over that of 2017 (52.25% to 73.27%).

All candidates have been advised to contact their heads of school for their results. For those who may want to check it up online, they must visit WAEC's online website to access the results.

In 2017, the general performance of all 289,210 candidates was good as compared to the previous year of 2016. In the area of Core Mathematics, exactly 122,450 candidates scored between AI and C6 with over 56,000 failing drastically.

Considering these negative statistics, one could understand the excitement of the two girls but even so, their celebration may have gone too far.
